Nelly Furtado's lyric video (which should be the music video) for "The spirit indestructible"

Nelly Furtado's lyric video for "The spirit indestructible" is a little different than most. Instead of looking like it was edited in Microsoft power point with th emost horrendous fonts mankind can find, Nelly instead overlayed the lyrics to the song over a video of double amputee Spencer West climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. It gives the song a greater deal of weight and is a truly inspirational video. I couldn't stop smiling as I watched this.

I would like the people who tried to tell me that Nelly Furtado did not sound strong during her live performance of this in Paris to go and drink a scolding hot cup of hot tea. Her vocals on this finalized studio version sound weak in comparison. She had tone and texture when she performed it live and I get NONE of that with this version. The beat still knocks like hell though.

Nelly should f**k shooting a video and just go with this to be honest. Her video would only look a budgeted mess anyway. I doubt she'd even get enough money to shoot some of the sights shown int hsi lyric video anyway. Plus, there's all that inspirational shit that standing on a rock in a dress with a wind machine can't quite capture.
I set out to climb Mt Kilimanjaro not only to redefine what’s possible for me but to inspire others to overcome obstacles and challenges of their own.

Cheers Mel for sending this video my way.
